Payment & Policy
Payment/ Deposit
Upon booking an event invoice will be emailed or mailed to the client. All payments will indicated on the invoice and an updated copy will be returned to the client as confirmed receipt of payment.
Accepted Methods of Payment: Cash, Paypal, Check [check only must be received 3 weeks prior to event]
An initial deposit of 50% of the service total is due at time of booking to secure your date.
Deposits can be refunded up until 90 days prior to your event. If event is cancelled past the 90 day point, the deposit will not be refunded.
The remaining balance is due at least 2 weeks prior to the event date.
POLICIES
Agreement of Services
Upon booking a contractual agreement will be sent via email or mail. Client is to sign and return the agreement within one week, a counter signed copy will be returned to the client. The event date will be held for you on a "Definite" basis upon receipt of your signed Event contract and initial deposit.
Adjusting Required Services
Services/ hours of service may be added up until 2 weeks prior to the event date.
A contract addendum will be sent to client for signature. Services may not be added or reduced past the 2 week point. All agreed upon services must be paid in full at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
Revision of Event Date
If the event date is changed past the 90 day point, Celebrate Simply will honor the revised date based on availability. Should Celebrate Simply not be available on the revised date, the client will receive a certificate for the amount paid to be used at a later date for Celebrate Simply's services.
Cancellation
You may cancel this Agreement only upon giving written notice to Celebrate Simply. Should the event and/ or services needed be cancelled prior to the 90 day point, any deposits/ payments made will be refunded. If the event and/ or services needed are cancelled past the 90 day point, the initial deposit and any additional payments made will not be refunded.
Pre Event Meeting
All bookings include a one hour pre- event meeting. Scheduling of the pre-event meeting must be done at least 2 weeks in advance of the meeting date. Pre-event meetings must occur between 7:00pm-9:00pm Monday-Friday or on weekends. Meetings may be held at a private location or in my residence. Pre-event meetings may be re-scheduled, based on availability. Notification of meeting cancellation must be received at least 4 hours prior to the event meeting.
If additional time is needed for the pre- event meeting, the additional cost will be $25 per hour.
Event Catering, Equipment & Decor
Celebrate Simply does not provide or sell any food or beverage items, decor items or event equipment:
Examples;
- table linens
-china, flatware, glassware
- chaffing racks, sterno
- food platters
- tongs, spoons, knives, etc
- tables, chairs
- flowers, balloons, streamers, etc
LIABILITY
Food
All food items must be handled and prepared by your choice of caterer or by the client. Celebrate Simply is not responsible or liable for food preparation, the presentation of the food, or the holding temperature of food.
Beverage
Celebrate Simply is not able to supply, sell or serve any alcoholic beverages. Celebrate Simply is not liable for the consumption of alcohol by event guests.
Day of Event
The Clients fully understand and agree that Celebrate Simply shall not be responsible or held liable in the event Celebrate Simply is prohibited from providing Event Day services due to hospitalization, accident, transportation breakdown/disruption, traffic difficulties, acts of God such as inclement weather or other unforeseen impediments, or other cause of non-arrival or delayed arrival on the day of the event.
Should Celebrate Simply be unable to perform services on the event day, Celebrate Simply will do their best to find a substitute event assistant.
Event Property
Celebrate Simply is neither liable for inconveniences caused by acts of nature or responsible for the private belongings of the Clients, guests or vendors, present at the event locations on the event day.
Vendors
Celebrate will exercise reasonable care in recommending any vendors for the Clients. However the Celebrate Simply is not responsible for the conduct and/or performance of any vendor. The vendors will prepare proposals and they will invoice the Clients. It is the Clients' sole responsibility to hire, contract and pay all vendors and/or venues in a timely manner.
